You have to give much credit to G.Petrie and the Maloofs for an outstanding job of maintaining their players and picking-up Clark. They will be tough and they will ready to take it further this upcoming season. To say they are one of the greatest teams ever, just puzzles me in certain ways?? Is he referring to the greatest team Sactown has ever had?? (sounds more likely) or is he stating the greatest team ever to be a threat against the NBA Champs?? (they are maybe just of that) But to be called A GREAT TEAM, it takes much more than just reaching a game 7 in the WCF. He's the proud owner and you can only imagine the positive thoughts and feelings he has within, understandably and rightfully so. The Kings a very good and impressive but for Maloof to label his team as the GREATEST ever is currently unproven and much blown over.
Great teams define - having fulfilled and accomplished the ultimate goals - Championships. From what I've read on the article, He sounds nothing more than an ongoing echo from the past year. Their expectations were very high, They ran their mouths off a few times, They practically guaranteed a championship by having the home court advantage, and as a result....CLOSE, very close!! but SHORT...well short in advancing to the Finals. The Kings are under the microscope for being the top favorites to win it all next season and will Webbers indictment be a distraction?? to be continued. Hmmmmmm...The GREATEST Team Ever?? Nah....not quite, how about another GREAT expectation from Mr..Maloof!!!
