Storyteller's Salary Data
Here's an updated link to my home page for salary information.
Storyteller's Salary Site
You'll find individual links to two spreadsheets for each season - one with total team salary figures and the other to individual player salaries - as well as "instructions for use".
Enjoy it if you find it useful.

Just so you all know -
I've changed my screen name from So Cal Blazer Fan to Storyteller.
Mostly because as of 9-5-04, I will no longer be living in Southern Calfornia.....
But when I have time, I'll continue to update the numbers on these sites.

Wow.. and to think the work I just did on the Sixers cap a few weeks ago was absolutely unneccessary. I was going to come in here and try to get some verification on whether or not Efthimos Rentzias' contract was still on the cap, but now after seeing it here, I'm pretty sure I was right.

Correct. Rentzias signed the standard 3 year guaranteed deal for rookies, so this will be the last year that his contract is on the books.

Hey, I'm trying to figure out a team's salary situation, and I can see from your data that they are over. So, when I try to figure out their salary situation for this off-season, how will I know what the salary cap is? Is it the same as the one you gave, or is it next year's cap? thanks.

Nobody knows what next year's cap will be. It will be set in July once the bean counters do their calculations on revenue from the current season.
Personally, I'm expecting next year's cap to be about $45.5 million - but that's a guess based on some figures I've seen.

"Actual" is what counts against the cap this year (2005-06).
The amount in the 2005-06 column is what they are receiving in salary.
