the term "overpaid" is relative to economics...i.e., the business of the nba. minny pays a lot to kg. what has he produced for them? nothing much, one wc finals appearance.
don't get me wrong, kg is a great player, but if i were the owner, i would be wondering what my money has actually accomplished in terms of team success...

What he produced for them? He's been worth his money. It's guys like Troy Hudson, Marko Jaric, Michael Olowokandi, etc. that haven't produced up to their salaries.
Garnett is paid about $300,000 more than Chris Webber, who wasn't included on your list.

should have added webber. you got me there...
all he's(kg) produced for the majority of his career has been extraordinary individual statistics. he's like a shawn marion on steroids. however, no wins, not worth it. my opinion, your's may differ.

KG is among the top 5 players in the NBA, has been for the past few years, and deserves to be paid accordingly.

Golden State has a lot of stinker contracts because Chris Mullin is insane. Murphy, to be fair, is overpaid but at least he's productive.
