Who will sign Boozer next season?

C Boozer is a FA in the summer.
Jazz - 7 years $77M
Nuggets - 6 years $70M

Sonics - good fit

it is hard for Cavs to re-sign him due to the salary cap.

The Cavs will have $6, $7 millions in cap this upcoming summer and I thought they would use all of it to resign Boozer.

Then I read from ESPN that Boozer has a team option next year. He's signed to a 3-year contract.

If boozer left it would really hurt the cavs reconstruction. HEs there 2nd best player and is really emerging as a great player. If they cant resign him due to cap space they should trade Z. Dont knoe exactly who wants him but i think they can get a decent player. Z is a good player but hes not a tough defender just an average rebounder n shot blocker. Boozer has been there most consistent player. If they lose him to better be able to get okafor

Team option. He'll be a free-agent in the summer of '05, unless they somehow work out an extension.

It's already been reported that Paxson and Boozer agreed to try and work something out after this season. Clev gave Booz a chance when every other team passed him over AT LEAST ONCE!, and Boozer likes Coach Silas alot, he's starting next to the fastest rising star in the league, and Silas has already gotten rid of the ego-players and brought in players who want to win.... same as Boozer was used to at Duke. I'd say there is a 85%+ chance Boozer resigns with Clev... everyone else can just wish they could lure him.

Cleveland will resign him. Why do you think they've been clearing cap space?

I think Z's contract runs out when Boozer is up for getting resigned. They'll move those bucks to boozer. Diop will be ready to start. And they are good to go.

If Cleveland wants to keep moving in a positive direction, they better work something out.
