How does putting a guy on waivers work?
can someone explain how putting a guy on waivers works? bostin put baker on waivers rite? do they still have to pay his salary?

Not unless someone takes him(which wouldn't happen). Another team can sign him to a new contract after he clears waivers, leaving Boston having to pay him his old contract.
