I have enjoyed being here! (post #1)


Due to some recent events (some personal and some board-related), I have decided to reduce my presence on message boards.

I want to thank the great community of people here for a wonderful couple of years. I am not the easiest person to get along with, but I can honestly say that there is not a single regular poster on this board that I regret interacting with. I have learned more than you will ever know from all of you. Thank you so much for that! It is very strange having friends that you have never met, but I consider many of you good friends. I will miss you.

Some recent board-related situations precipitated this action of mine, but really this was a long time coming. For a variety of reasons, it just makes sense for me to make a clean break from posting a lot on message boards, so that is what I will be doing.

I may occasionally post from time to time, so this is in no way a complete good-bye. But I do once again want to thank you all. Basketballboards.net is a great place and it is all of you that have made it that way.

Thanks for letting us know. I understand how life moves on and how that changes things. Posting here on the board is fun, but it's definitely not the highest of priorities.

Don't get the impression, though, that you won't be missed. You will. I especially will miss the dialogue about cap issues on this forum.

Although we would (selfishly) wish that you were able to post more regularly, I think we all understand.
