Does the NBA put all the money from salesof memerbilia in a bigpot and split it up evenly amongst the teams or is it that you get what you sell?

I'm almost certain all of that goes right back into the NBA. I dont think it gets divyed up in any kind of way

No, the NBA does in fact have a revenue sharing model in place. It is a pretty complex little piece of work and if you want to know more about it and the direct stipulations regarding anything and everything, go read this page:

I always wondered why teams that where absolute bootm of the barrell and you knew they where going to be that way for a while (clippers and mavs of the 90's) didnt just dump their high priced players and start with a whole bunch of scrubs and let them grow together. Minimum salary is too stop an owner from tanking too much.
