Power forward Luis Scola (206, 22) will miss two months of action, the club announced, due to plantar fasciaitis on the bottom of his right foot. The injury was discovered in practice on Sunday night when Scola felt pain running sprints. Tau's medical staff made the diagnosis on Monday, calling the injury a partial tear in the sole of the foot and estimating the period of treatment to be two months. Scola is currently averaging 13.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 24 minutes per game for Tau in the Euroleague. He is second on the team in both scoring and rebounding through the first half of the regular season behind fellow Argentine forward Andres Nocioni.

Thanks for the update Tom...
Isn't this the same injury Peja is suffering through??
Must be one of those serious injury bugs
After watching him play impressive during the worlds, I can see Scola taking his game directly into the NBA. He has the size and physical type of play to fit right in. But I hope this report isn't serious at all. The Spurs wouldn't mind having him, mix it up in their frontline.
