jazz and mavs
who should I root for? if jazz lose we go to #3 if mavs lose we are only 2 back.
Lakers lose tonight to give us some breathing room for #4.

imo there are two ways to beat them
1. play them like we played the suns in 05. let dirk get his points. guard and help on others while running the floor besides the 4ths qrt. we do have two of the fastest guards in the game.
2.Play like the spurs did against dallas in 06 but minus mark cuban.
im not scared of the mavs, i am how ever scared of injuries.

The two teams are so similar and evenly matched that any given night is a toss up. When Elson comes back, San Antonio will be able to do what Okur did to Dallas.
Nobody should be worried about the Spurs.
As for the ways to beat Dallas, I wouldn't try to outrun Dallas for the same reasons you wouldn't try to outrun Phoenix... except PHX plays NO DEFENSE. Dallas does have some speedy defenders, like Devin Harris. Jason Terry and Josh Howard are both flopping quite well too.
Cuban's been keeping his mouth shut, and all of the fans are all enjoying the peace and quiet.
I still love the Texas Triangle, regardless whether or not Dallas gets any love in San Antonio.
I'll be rooting for you guys in Denver. That's a tough game, and I hope you pull out a win.

Spurs will need their A-game to beat the nugs in Denver, but Dallas is in a nice "let down" game after that big win last night....
 the chances are not that bad.
