The Spurs are playing great defense and forcing turnovers, but are building a brick house on the other end. Tony has missed three easy layups already. The team as a whole is only shooting 40% while Denver is shooting the lights out.

our d is playing very good right now! iverson is on fire and were only up by 3 but if we can play like this on d all time wow..this is the first time ive seen us play this good of d since like 05. now if we can hit our open lay ups...

The Nuggets are playing pretty well - Boykins and AI are 21-34 from the field. 12 free throws missed and counting is really keeping Denver alive. Those could come back to haunt us.

Vintage Manu at the end of the game there. He had a bad shooting night but 16 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 4 steals, and the countless little things he does made up for that.

great game on the defensive side...on offense we got what we wanted we just couldnt hit some open shots. so thinking next time they will go in..this was a nice stepping stone.

Great win, even with the re-insertion of J.R. Smith.
With their players slowly coming back into the line-up from suspension, Nugs will have some serious chemistry issues, but they will be an interesting team to watch after the AllStar break.
There are still two more meetings before the season ends, and how well they perform against the Spurs will be the measuring stick on how far they'll actually go in the playoffs.
Impressive b2b wins!
