i dont think hell struggle

like everyone is saying on the news here, he gets more control of the game when he plays off the bench, because he doesnt have to share the ball with T. Parker and timmy as much

but history tells us that pop will start, bench, and start manu again before all is said and done. i say he gets a start in about 3 weeks, gets benched again a week before the playoffs, and starts again in the second round

He has been getting more minutes off the bench too. Only reason it looks like his minutes appear lower at first glance is because of all the blowout wins. He's been playing slightly better off the bench but it's still too small a sample size to determine anything. The good thing is we are winning.

I think the key is our team cannot be without either Duncan, Parker, or Ginobil on the floor. If all three of them are on the bench at the same time the rest of the guys can't create for themselves.

I'd say the next time the Spurs go on a mini loosing streak we will see Manu back in the starting line up. I hate to see Manu always having to sacrifice and always having to be the one to come off the bench but since it's working I'd say to continue doing it. The good thing is that it allows Manu the room to play without Tim and Tony being in his way. I just wish he would get more minutes because right now he doesn't have a lot of minutes (almost a career low other than his rookie year) and some of those stats can be a little deceiving because some of the minutes he ends up playing is during scrub time just to make sure he gets some minutes.
