Well, I expect a close game. Portland is very difficult to beat at home against great teams. We somehow find ways to beat Utah, then go on the road the next night at Lakers and beat them, but then proceed to lose at home vs. Memphis and Sacto....I guess it all depends on which Blazers squad decides to show up tonight. Here's to a good game

damn, manu, finley, and udrih rallying late to try to steal this game away
roy is a beast. why did the wolves trade away the rights for him? (edit: if the wolves and mchale get durant and do to him what they have done to garnetts career, i might cry)
who has been guarding duncan? lamarcus?
lamarcus is having a good night shooting the ball. i would like to see him rebound better on the defensive end

Wow. I don't know how we won. Portland completely owned us. It felt like the Blazers were blowing us out the entire game. Once Udoka kneed Duncan in the place where the sun don't shine though the Spurs put on a show.
I'd like to thank Manu Ginobil and Michael Finley for saving us. 12 points and 10 points in the fourth for Manu and Finley respectively. Both of them made huge clutch shots tonight. Hats off to them because they won us the game. Beno hit a couple of nice threes down the stretch too.
I was extremely impressed by the Blazers. Even though Zach Randolph didn't have his best day the rest of the Blazers stepped up big time. Brandon Roy and Sergio Rodriguez are studs and Aldridge kept knocking down the open jumpers the Spurs were daring him to shoot.

Forgot to mention that we have a couple of injury updates. Tony tried to play in this game but looked pretty slow on both ends of the court so Pop benched him for the rest of the game. Brent Barry also left the game in the middle of the third quarter. I'm not sure why but Bill Land said something about getting stitches for his eye so I don't think it will be serious enough for him to miss game time.
Robert Horry also sat out tonight because it was the second night of a back to back.
