Well...in other articles i've read, the coaches have said he's been the opposite in practice, eager to play and get better...etc. Interesting comment though.

I think both are true. One does not imply the other. Swift is a really young player and one that is used to dominating every game he plays, I'd imagine that while at times he really listens intently to what's going on with the staff. There are other times where he completely zones out and the staff has to get on him. Not to make any excuses.

I know its one thing I will be paying attention to at hte open practice.

I think this guys sucks and is going to be a huge bust. He doesnt have any moves and he is weak. If he wasnt playing in a era with such ****ty center he would never of though of drafting him

to be honest, as a sonics fan, i didn't like the idea of drafting r. swift, when we did, i didn't really like it, and now over the summer, i think it was actually a good pick. Swift seems to be learning fast, he's playing better in Preseason than Summer League. Yeah, it's small improvement, but still he's improving. He just needs to keep learning, learn from mistakes after the first few years, and I think he can turn into a decent starter down the road.
