Thats what I love about Nick he gives his heart and soul every night and you can tell the check is the last thing on his mind, he even states that in a recent interview.Chris Wilcox will always be frowned upon until he realizes that you have to compete on both ends of the floor. I believe its more enjoyable to play solid defense when your in the groove and hold down the paint. Thats what gets the crowd going, as well as a Mutombo finger wave.

Don't know what it is about Collison, but he really catches my eye as a player. Could be because he's consistant and gives 110% every night and Radmanovic and Wilcox both tend to dissapear . . . often.

Agreed. Wilcox is far too inconsistent for this stage of his career.

Re: Collison > Wilcox??
Wilcox allows us to run our full court and high post offense, like I said before. Collison runs a P&R once in a while, and maybe that open 18-20 footer. Wilcox is much more of a threat.

Wilcox is obviously a threat on offense, but his defense is atrocious to the point where it makes him very one dimensional. Collison is a type of player who can do everything for you such as rebound, box out, and block a shot occasionally. He doesnt try to force the issue as often as dunk Mr. create-a-dunk Wilcox. Its obvious why he warmed the bench so long for the Clippers

Re: Collison > Wilcox??
So it's settled that Collison is the defender and Wilcox contributes on the offensive end. I think Wilcox is a much bigger part of our offense than Collison is part of our defense.

Chan i know you really cant believe that, Wilcox on offense these past 5 games has been virtually invisible next to Collison. Nick defense at the center position is why we have won three in a row. (Andre Brown should get credit as well)

With us holding a team to 29 points in the first half, us switching to the zone and running an undersized frontcourt, I don't really know what to believe anymore. If Collison keeps this up for a few more games, I'll admit it's more than a one-time thing.

Re: Collison > Wilcox??
Godzilla, I mean Collison, continued his monstrous play tonight - 18/10 against the Nuggs.

Any doubts now?
Collison IS better than Wilcox - take it from an outsider.

Re: Collison > Wilcox??
I forgot about this thread. He's kept it up long enough to convince me that he is better than Wilcox.
