I remember when Fortson was actually helping the team. He created an inside presence that the Soups needed. Well, it didnt last long and now he never plays. Just wonderful...  |

He gave the entire team a toughness boost for one year. That's gone, and he's not an asset anymore.

Exactly. Well, alot has changed since his Fortson was helpful to the team.

Again, I think that Sonics would've better if they have traded him for Williamson (like I've suggested in this offseason... Mo Taylor to Kings, Williamson to Sonics and Fortson to NY, I should've included Frederic "the Petro teacher" Weis draft rights in that trade idea )
Part of my trade idea already happened (Mo Taylor was waived by Knicks and then he signed with Kings, being waived again in the mid-season)...
But it would've been better for Sonics...

I don't want Weis to teach Petro. I want Petro to go away. He's not completely useless, but he is not an asset in any way. Forget the big man takes a few years theory, you can just sense potential when you see it. So far, Petro hasn't had a single flash of stuff in his career.

This is weak, Fortson is probably grumbling cause he isn't getting any playing time but he is back to being healthy. Him and coach Hill just don't get along. It's stupid that he doesn't put Fortson in, I remember when the Sonics were 3-0 the first three games Danny Fortson started at center. He's great for about 15 minutes a night, he brings so many intangibles to the game. I hope we re-sign him and we get a new coach who will actually play him! He's the shizz.
