Secondly, Morrison is a SF too. He might be able to fill in at sg, but only in the same way as Sexyback.
And finally, you can't trade Jellyball, he's just too ace (plus you need at least one player who can play good defense at each position.. but mostly cos he's ace)

Morrison can play the 2 or the 3.
Also, if I remember correctly Wally expires after 2008-2009 season. Going by what could be for that free agent class, I think it would be a good idea if they keep him and let his contract expire in Seattle.

Lafrentz contract also expires after 2008-2009 season, so it won't make difference salary-wise.
The question is that I can't see Sonics dealing Swift or Sene instead of Petro (obvious, unless a great offer come)

Re: Jeff Green might be better
I would argue this after Durant's scrimmage with Team USA. In his first time in a more controlled setting, he fit like a glove, impressing many and filling up the net despite being guarded by one of the better defenders in the league in Shane Battier.
That being said, Green still might end up better. I'm just putting my money on Durant. Seattle is scary in 5 years i tell you.

Morrison at the 2 would REALLY sketch me out if I was a coach. He can't dribble, he's too slow, and his lack of defense would show up even more when a guard blows by him.
Though his lackluster defense would translate just the same to the wing spot, I do think it would be even MORE exposed at the 2 spot.
He shoots like a 2 but does everything else like a bench player.
