I missed most of the original airing and listened to some of the audio from KJR, but I had a hard time paying attention to Clay rambling on and saying nothing. Mitch asked some tough questions, but Clay was careful not to reveal his true intentions. At least, that is the way he comes across to me.

If Clay and the new owners are really serious about getting a new arena built in the Seattle area, then I suggets that they step up to the table and plunk down $100 million. Money talks, Clay, and until you make a finanacial commitment to a new arena, it gonna continue to be difficult to get a deal done. Quit whining and BS'ing and show us the money.

Clay obviously wants to move the team. The question is whether the city of Seattle can and will force him to stay out his lease, in which case the OKC ownership group IMO will likely put the team up for sale again. And I'd just like to say that I blame Howard Schultz for all of this much more than I blame Clay Bennett.

I remember reading an article about how much Schultz loved the Sonics growing and was so proud to own them etc... Turned around in about one year. The nature of millionaires I guess.
