Personally, I am not a Wally fan. At this point, I'd say that all of the players on the team are going to be competing with each other for minutes and starting positions. If Wally can get the job done, he will play.

Wally can't play defense, at all. He thinks he's a superstar and believes that on bad teams he deserves to start and play the bulk of the minutes. The 'Sonics just drafted two guys that play the same position as him and are gearing up for the O.J. Mayo sweepstakes. I don't see this ending well.
