I like what I saw. Durant was a real nice disruptive force, and turned it on Ben Gordon-style in the 4th. The crossover-fadeaway he schooled Mason with was beautiful. Just picture when he does this on a regular basis. He was no doubt the hero, along with Collison and Thomas. Watson was pretty good too. Sadly, Green was a non-factor, and I wanted him to outplay Yi.
I was okay with Yi's performance. Nothing special. I gotta say from a strict on-court stance, I like the pick of Green over Yi, at least offensively. I want my 7-footers in the post, not out there taking threes. However, Yi is a good defender and used his long arms on defense, and I kinda wish we had a guy like that to make opposing teams uncomfortable.
Moreso I was impressed by Bogut. He's a type of guy I wish this team had. Big, tough, a good defender, good scorer that likes to play in the post, great passer that keeps a lookout for slashers, and he's got a mean streak. That's pretty much everything I ask from my 5 spot. He wasn't a spectacular game changer on either side of the ball, but he's a great guy to have.
