I agree that Stern was a little harsh towards the Washington Legislature. But in the meantime Washingtom residents have placed more financial concern with the Seahawks and Mariners so then I couldn't imagine one county would approve building a new arena. I am surprised that other local businessmen along with other public support didn't try to buy the sonics from Howard Schultz. Supersonics owner Clay Bennett was a little on his price tag for building a new arena. I wonder if he used that $$ as a scapegoat to move the Sonics to Okl anyways.
