Re: 39 old Romario is top scorer in Brasil league!!
I heard some rumours that Cafu and Roberto Carlos may return to Brasil league. Is that true? Or is that just a try to get a new better contract in their clubs?
Cafu could soon go back to Sao Paulo as part of a deal for the January signing of defender Diego Lugano.

Talking about Cafu and R. Carlos: they are pretty old - who are their replacements in Brasil NT ?

They both will probably be in the WC 2006 squad, as for their replacements, Brazil has a string of RB, from Cicinho of Real Madrid, Maicon of Monaco, Belletti from Barcelona, even Mancini of Roma. Brazil has exactly produced any LB to be comparable to Roberto Carlos yet, there's only a few such as Gilberto who plays...um I think its Hamburg, maybe even Dede of Borussia Dortmund, or the up and coming Ajax player Maxwell who I think is going to either Inter or Juve next season.

I heard that Fernebache (turkey) would try to sign Roberto Carlos after the WC.
Cafu is probably coming back to Brazil after the WC. Maybe for Sao Paulo, who really needs a RB (Maurinho from Cruzeiro is the guy that Sao Paulo want as RB, but Cafu would be a good option).
As they replacement, ORginal ScarFace said well.
RB - Cicinho, Maicon, Belletti, Mancini and Maurinho (a great RB, but with a problematic knee).
LB - Gustavo Nery (Corinthians), Gilberto, Maxwell, Leandro (Cruzeiro) are the options.
None of them are in the same level of Roberto Carlos.
I hope to 2010 WC, other LB came as a replacement.

Re: 39 old Romario is top scorer in Brasil league!!
Wow, that guy is amazing. And only 17 years old?? Great talent...
Yes, I think I heard a name Kerlon before, but never saw any video or picture of him, so thanks. Is he a striker or midfielder?
And: will Edilson play for Cruzeiro next season?
Today I watched the match Real M. Celta and saw Cicinho playing for my first time. He was pretty good and scored a goal for 2:1 victory.
And Robinho was also great...also scored a goel...actually I changed my thoughts about him a little, after his good games in last few weeks . He is better that I thought before... Now I can understand why was he called in Brasil NT for WC 2006...

He is a miedfielder. Plays in same position of Ronaldinho, Alex and Rivaldo.
In Cup America sub 17, he score 9 goals. The same of Ronaldo in 92. He was the best player. Anderson (Gremio / Benfica) was in the team.
Edilson is not going to play for Cruzeiro. He played in 2002 and should have played last year (but he didn't show up in the right day so Cruzeiro canceled the deal).
I think he is in Arabian playing for money and waiting the start of national league in abril to get back in a brazilian team.
Do you remember of Giovani from Barcelona and Olympiakos?
He was in Santos.
Luxemburgo get back to coach Santos and release him, Luizão and Pitbull.
Giovani is going to play for money in Arabian too.
We have Elber, Araujo and Gil. 3 great offensive players. And Diego and Alecsandro. These last two could become good players.
Wait and you will see. This Robinho is not the best Robinho.
HE is getting better... in one month he will be even better than now.
An amazing player.

when i see his goals I can't believe how that guy can't make the national team, we have so many losers in the midfield and still no room for Rambo, I don't understand, nobody understands.
But I still hope for him, we need him, with Rambo in the team we could beat Argentina with no problems otherwise we are just an average team.
How do you rank him in Brasilian league, is he in top 5 players?
thanks for the clips

WOW, Petkovic socre one great goal yesterday against flamengo. He is so good...
He is for sure a top 5 player in brazilian league.
Maybe top 3 with Tevez and Ricardinho (both in Corinthians).
Ricardinho was in WC 2002 and will be in 2006.
And i can't decide who is better, Rambo or Ricardinho.
Today, after a great goal, i would select Petkovic and put him in the top 2 in brazilian league.
Only behind of Tevez.
I will try to find the goal from yesterday. If i found i post here the link.
Zagalo, said today, that only blind people are in your NT for not see what Pet can do.
He deffended Rambo to be in the World Cup.
Lothar Matthaus from Germany is the new coach of Atletico Paranense.

Re: 39 old Romario is top scorer in Brasil league!!
Today, our coach(also Petkovic) said that he will call Rambo only IF he needs him.
He is acting as if we have 10 players better than Rambo, but I'm sure he knows how good Rambo is, they are not blind, they just don't want to call him for some reason, and nobody knows what the reason is , not even Rambo
