My soccer vacation...can't pick a location
A few years ago, my brother and I went to Barcelona for a match and the sights. We're looking to do that again Easter weekend, but I cannot decide which would be the best location.
Here's what I'm looking at:
Istanbul - Fenerbahce vs. some team I have never heard of. The worst match, but easily the location that no one else has likely been to.
Lyon - Lyon vs. PSG. One of the better matches, but I'm not hugely interested in the city.
Milan - Inter vs. Juventus. Easily the best match, and I'm curious to find out what its like to sit with the away fans, and Juve are my favorite club.
Munich - Bayern vs. Leverkusen. I hear good things about the city, the match is good, and I'm curious about the stadium.

Re: My soccer vacation...can't pick a location
i'd say milan. it's the best game and if juventus is your favorite team, i think that would make it the best choice.
a friend of mine studied abroad in italy for a semester and even though he isn't a soccer fan, he went to a couple of champions league games in milan while he was there and he said they were really cool.

Re: My soccer vacation...can't pick a location
Personally I'd go with Inter vs Juve, even though San Siro is not as flashy as the Allianz Arena, it's one of the classic great stadiums in the world. Plus you're looking at two teams battling it out for the scudetto, while Bayern will most likely have their title wrapped up long before then. Plus Milan is a pretty nice city for site seeing, maybe not as great as Munich though. You could also check out some euroleague ball too, I think they have the Olympia Milano team that Antonio Davis use to play for.

Inter v Juve sounds smashing!
But if you want cheap team merchandise Turkey sells shirts for what they say should be only around 10 pounds or less.

Re: My soccer vacation...can't pick a location
of the four, I'd definitely go to Milan. And do some fancy shopping while I'm there as well.
I hear that the best live football game experience is in the UK or Scotland though.
