wasn't disclose but we can all agree it was something ridiculous. BBC quoted this new owner of having a family fortune of over 500 billion pounds so essentially he is a trillionaire whether that is a personal fortune or in assets is irrelevant, Manchester City now have the richest owner in world football.
I also noticed Everton signed that highly rated Belgian Fellaini for a whopping 15million pounds, going from his Olympic performances he seems like a good player but 15 million is a lot of money especially for Everton.

This man Dr Sulaiman Al Fahim is the face of the Abu Dhabi United Group that bought Manchester City but apparently he is the not the 'actual' owner. The actual owner is Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan one of the members of the royal family of Abu Dhabi.
Here's the link about this guy and the purchase

Re: Summer Transfers/Loans - Rumours
the problem is going to be that investment groups like to turn profit, and while they may be spending a lot here initially to try and raise City's brand, if they don't see a return on their investment they will cut costs.
Also what happens if they sell the club and you've got a wage structure like that in place with no real income coming in to offset it? If City isn't careful they could end up another Leeds.

I don't think so. This is what he said about Cristiano Ronaldo earlier today (yesterday for those on GMT).
"Real Madrid were estimating his value at $160 million (roughly £90m) but for a player like that, to actually get him, will cost a lot more; I would think $240 million (£135m). But why not? We are going to be the biggest club in the world, bigger than both Real Madrid and Manchester United."
Hearing something like that makes it seem like this is just something he's doing for fun and he doesn't really care about profits. He's like Abramovich, but richer.

Re: Summer Transfers/Loans - Rumours
Sucks to be a fan of a team that isn't owned by a billionaire these days ... how I miss the days when Chelsea were a UEFA Cup team and Man City went up and down between the Premiership and Division 1.
I'm glad Liverpool at least picked up someone for the midfield ... even if it was Plan B or C.

pretty highly rated by SAF and Manchester United fans, that's why he rejected Hull's 7 million pound bid for him. He's pretty much the reason Hull is in the Premiership, I think he had something like 15 goals in half a season for Hull. However I wouldn't be expecting any miracles from him this season, he's still just a kid. His style is very similar to Darren Bent, very fast, though he might be a bit better in the build up process then Bent.
