David Villa broke his leg at the Club World Cup earlier today, out 6-7 months, which means he could struggle to get back in time for the Euro's. Of course they have different options, could easily just play Silva in the faux number 9 role, with Pedro and Iniesta either side of him, but Villa was important for this Spain side. I doubt they'll put their faith in Torres.

Anyway, I'm guessing a Germany vs Holland final, with Germany winning the whole thing.

Rooney is also suspended for the 1st two games.

Yeah, the last game (or two?) on his suspension has been suspended for 4 years.

Not that I particularly care. Lost interest in national football a long time ago when I realised it was media hype then downfall. And they showed some stats on TV the other day that we play a lot better without Rooney anyway, and he hasn't scored since 2004, in a Euro/WC finals match.

Outside bet on france maybe? they doing well recently and are unbeaten in like 18 games or something.

I don't think its the worst bet if the odds are long enough. Benzema and Ribery are having 2 of the best 10 seasons in Europe this year.
