Seems like an awful lot of money to pay Pizarro for never playing a game. Oh well, they can afford it.

The midfielder in my opinion, is the most important piece. I love Gustavo and Schweinsteiger, but Tymo is past it. So there are injury concerns with having only 2 players for 2 places (I know Kroos can play there too, but it's not ideal). The other concern is that Gustavo, as brilliant of a destroyer as he is, is not a great passer or attacking player. Against teams who pack the box against us (most of them), it would make more sense to run a double pivot like Germany does with Schweini and Khedira. Where you never know which midfielder is going to go forward. We're linked with a lot of top players, Yaya Toure, Nuri Sahin, Javi Martinez, and Lars Bender. I'm not sure if any of them are likely, but it wouldn't surprise me if we got one of them.

This summer is just going to be ridiculous for Bayern fans. Hearing Luis Suarez rumors now...

EDIT: Think it was probably Matias Suarez, which I've DEFINITELY been hearing and it looks almost likely. Wouldn't be surprised to see Luis linked at some point though.

Hulk to Chelsea is gathering momentum. The money that is being discussed is ridiculous (circa £80m), I don't see how anybody not named Ronaldo or Messi could even be worth half that.

I think £80m is his buyout clause (100m euros). There's been talk about him leaving for less, and I would hope Chelsea manage to get them way down from that. I know it's only 2 games but he was terrible against City in the Europa. Greedy and with not much substance.

If I had £80m in the bank I'd give Atletico anything they want for Falcao. Anything.

There's talk of Louis Van Gaal being the sport director of Liverpool. Heard nothing in regard to Suarez, I could see PSG after him. They have all the money in the world now and are aggressively looking for a striker.

Pizarro officially signs on with Bayern. He signed the deal in Madrid, Nerlinger was out there watching Javi Martinez. What do you think about him, Nimreitz?

He's been playing out of position at centre back all year, but he's still been brilliant. Good tackler, wins the ball well but is also so comfortable on the ball, so he's fantastic at turning defence into attack. He's tall too (6 ft 3) so he's a threat in the air. A leader, too. I'd love to see him at United. (in the holding role behind Kagawa)

Hulk seems hella overrated to me. Love his athleticism and strength, but I'm not sure how much of a player he actually is. I would expect a lot more consistency from someone if I'm paying that much. I thought these rumors would have died when Vilas Boas got sacked.

Falcao is a good shout. That dude is sick, any team could use him.

Looooooooove Javi Martinez. That kid is a ****ing player. I actually like him in defense, he reminds me of Beckenbauer. There's a lot of skepticism about him on the Big Soccer Bayern Board from the retards that post over there and I can't figure out why.

I'll update the thread with all the recent transfers and all rumors I can gather that aren't just from the Bundesliga once I get a little more time in the next few days.

Anyways, I've been reading that Dzeko is actually prepared for a transfer to Munich, Matias Suarez is Bayern's backup if a deal with ManCity can't be reached. His price tag is supposed to be 25 million euros.

I have a good feeling about Javi Martinez coming over, but we'll see.
