Hazard doesn't strike me as much special. Chelsea get caught up in the hype and don't let scouts/managers do what they are paid to do - assess talent.

Yeah I haven't seen much of Hazard so I can't make my own assessment, but I'm verrry skeptical. The guy was all like "Gervinho is the best player I've played with, he's so amazing, blah blah" which doesn't inspire a ton of confidence.

On the other hand, I KNOW Kagawa is good.

I think his impact is going to be every bit as big as Hazard's in the Premiership. The only reason they scored a similar amount of goals this year is because Hazard converted 11 penalties.

So seriously, can Javi Martinez just come to Bayern for ~25m right now? I'm getting sick of this dance, oh they want the 40m buyout, oh but Bayern won't pay it, but with Basques its political, and now Barca are soo interested so we better just pay the buyout. Horrible. In my opinion he is the absolute ideal signing for FC Bayern. It's impossible for me to think of a better midfield partner for Schweinsteiger. He won't bomb forward too much leaving our shitty defense exposed, he's a solid defender, but also a brilliant passer who won't lose possession. I don't know if there's another player like him in the world that Bayern could get. Obviously we won't be signing Xabi Alonso or Busquets anytime soon. And thank Christ for that.

Now if we could just get a ****ing defender (won't happen) and a striker (to replace Gomez, not Mandzukic... won't happen) we'd be the best team the Bundesliga has seen on paper since... ever probably.

No longer a Gomez supporter? Who would you target? Also I'm assuming you would want to get a defender to replace Boateng. Don't see who's out there though.
