Re: 2012/2013 Bundesliga Thread
Lewandowski has been a pretty shameless asshole to get to a top club. Before the van Persie signing it looked like he was headed there, so I'm sure he tried to nudge it along by saying shit like that in the press.

Re: 2012/2013 Bundesliga Thread
Spiegel says a top Bayern source tells them Lewandowski and Bayern have a deal, now it's up to Bayern and Dortmund to get something one. Lewandowski is atop of Pep's wishlist.

Re: 2012/2013 Bundesliga Thread
I don't think we'll get a real answer regarding Lewandowski until the summer, but I strongly believe that we will sign a premier striker in the summer to replace Gomez. I'm becoming less and less of a Gomez believer, that friendly didn't help.

Re: 2012/2013 Bundesliga Thread
Ditto. Some are defending Gomez like he's their own mother on the Bayern Big Soccer forum, but I just don't see what he offers to an elite club. Yes he scores goals, but scoring goals with the service a striker gets at Bayern isn't that difficult and Mandzukic this season is Exhibit A. He's scoring at the same rate that Gomez did in the Bundesliga last year, but he's also involved in the buildup and makes great runs. Lewandowski is a very very similar player. People say Gomez "offers something different", but I'm quite sure that Lewa or Mario II could stand like a statue and score tap ins if they really had to do "something different".
If there's one thing that gives me a little pause it's giving money to Dortmund, but as long as we get him at a fair market value (for 1 year left on his contract) I have no problem with it. SOMEONE is going to buy him, so Dortmund will get that money no matter what. |

Neymar talk again, this time from Sky Sports Germany. They talked with Neymar, he said he could see himself playing at Bayern. He wants to make a move to Europe in the next two years. He's a big Schweinsteiger fan. EDIT: Found an article in English http://sports.yahoo.com/news/neymar-...0369--sow.html Last edited by mvP to the Wee; 02-07-2013 at 05:19 PM. |

As for Spain, yeah, Raul seems to have really blazed a trail. I think you're right about the number of Spaniards in the Bundesliga in the next 5 years and Pep can only help. 15 ****ing points. What a year. |

Re: 2012/2013 Bundesliga Thread
A German source is saying Lewandowski to Bayern will be announced after their DFB Pokal game. He will be coming for 30 million euros. They also mention how Man City has interest in Mario Gomez and Dortmund has interest in Edin Dzeko. Kind of like a 3 team trade
