Hannover comes back from down 0-2 at the half to win 4-2. Wolfsburg looking better since firing Magath.

Heard Allianz is potentially going to buy about 9% of Bayern's club shares at the price of 100 million euros. Big deal or not?

Re: 2012/2013 Bundesliga Thread

Yeah, definitely a big deal. This basically pays off the rest of the stadium, freeing up about 30m Euros more each year in transfer funds and wages. I'm sure most of it will go into raises for Muller, Kroos, Badstuber, and the kids, but this is phenomenal. We already spend a shitload of money in the transfer window, so this is basically 10-20m more, plus the wages for a bonafide world superstar. Not sure the squad needs anyone right now, but you never know.

Have you seen this confirmed anywhere? I've heard the rumor for about a week now, but nothing concrete. I also like how 100m for 8% puts the club valuation well over $1 billion.

Read it on a few German websites, Kicker I believe. Maybe we should put those 100 million and snatch CR7 away from PSG

Sport Bild says Mario Götze has an exit clause of 37 million euros in his new contract. I'd love for Bayern to go after him to replace Robben(and sell him off for whatever they can get).

Re: 2012/2013 Bundesliga Thread

Gotze likely wouldn't agree to terms with Bayern. Dortmund is kind of a cult and they see Bayern as the enemy (and they probably have every reason to). I expect him at Real Madrid as the first big signing of the next manager. Arsenal have long been linked with him too, but that's a lot of money for them. If they can get a good chunk of it from Theo though, you never know.

Benzema
Ronaldo-Ozil-Gotze

Yikes.

I kinda feel bad for Borussia Dortmund supporters. That team is gonna get raided in the next 2 transfer windows. But dam are they gonna have ALOT of money after...So much amazing talent on that team

Gotze
Reus
Hummels
Lewandowski

All probably gonna or close to it by the end of Summer Transfer Window

Re: 2012/2013 Bundesliga Thread

Reus just moved this summer, so I think he'll be the last out the door. Don't forget Pisczek, Blazazkukukkovski, Gundogan, and Bender.

In fact, I think it would be a brilliant move for a club without a midfield (hey United) to buy both Benders. I think they can be got, and their individual talents really suit each other (Lars a box-to-box, Sven a Busquets-esque holder).

Just heard a rumor that Chelsea could make a move for Mario Gomez this summer, and of course I loved hearing that. We spend a ton on him, so we could get probably 40-45m euros if someone was truly interested, and we could use that money to upgrade. Lewandowski and Benzema would be realistic targets and they are both better than Gomez.

If Real gets Falcao, then Benzema should be available at the right price.

As for Götze, we've seen Lewandowski try to get a move to Bayern, and Hummels' father said they were in discussions about a return to Bayern, so I don't think the idea of him refusing a move to Bayern is set. In fact, I'm sure if he realizes the positive impact it will have in his career and that he can stay in Germany, he will be okay with a transfer to Bayern.
