Re: 2012/2013 EPL Thread
Lewandowski's contract is coming up, which means they'll likely get under 20m for him. You can't really get a foreign STAR striker for that kind of money.
EDIT: Here's a crazy rumor for you all... Sneijder to Spurs. Last edited by Nimreitz; 12-25-2012 at 08:31 AM. |

Dempsey is starting to put it together at his new spot. Bale/Assou-Ekotto are healthy. Sneijders move is gonna make it so Dembelle can move forward and if they can get their Strikers in form i see a CL spot for Spurs ESPN link to the Sneijders story: http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...277446&cc=5901

Re: 2012/2013 EPL Thread
And 12 million for Sneijders is a steal and should leave them some cash to go after a Striker since Adebayor is sucking it up. Its to bad Huntelaar resigned with Schalke a guy with that killer finishing ability could really help Spurs

Re: 2012/2013 EPL Thread
They're going to have a little extra money from the CL this time, Edin Dzeko would seem to make sense if he can lower his wage demands a bit and Man City doesn't ask for 35 million again.

Re: 2012/2013 EPL Thread
You pocket it and pay dividends to their shareholders? Reus was just one of those players they had to buy, young, talented, German, and proven in the Bundesliga. Not sure if there is a striker with those credentials they could get. Dzeko would obviously be good, I was always a fan of Lucas Barrios, maybe they could get him back? The former United striker Mame Biram Diouf is also playing extremely well for Hannover so thats another option. I'm sure Klopp will just find another gem from the most obscure place ever.

Re: 2012/2013 EPL Thread
Villa were dire last year, this is improvement for them. Lambert has done a decent job, believe it or not. 12-0 over 2 games doesn't lend any credence to that, but they were on a decent run before those losses.
