Appalachian State was last years second or third scoring team in the nation...

Chattanooga returns everyone from the conference runner-up team and with Jeff Lebo at the helm should make it. App. State lost their top 3 scorers last year, they are gonna be near the bottom of the conference.

ETSU, Davidson, College of Charleston and Chattanooga it is so close, any one of those teams could win it.

I really want to see either Charleston or Chattanooga in the dance. I remember the last time the Mocs went to the tourney in 1997, they went to the Sweet 16 with Johnny Taylor and Willie Young as a 14th seed. They beat Georgia (coached by Tubby Smith) and Illinois (coached by Lon Kruger).

i think that although they have a snowballs chance in you know where of winning the conference, uncg will wreak a lot of havoc in terms of conference records, as they are a young surprise team capable of pulling an upset on any night, and the big reason why i say this is that they have dwon clifton, who is an immense talent, preseason all conference jay joseph, and ronnie taylor, to go along with a group of 6 good athletes in the 6-5 to 6-11 range....james maye is a big loss for them, but he was extremely disruptive to their offensive flow last season, and forced up numerous bad shots

i see this team finishing middle of the pack, but knocking off 1-2 of the top 4 teams at some point

No one is giving Western Carolina any credit for bringing back the most players in the conference. Also, they have the best player in Kevin Martin. He dropped 44 on Georgia Friday night. David Berghoefer is much improved and Kyle Greathouse is an impact freshman. Watch out for WCU!!!

Welcome to the site UConnWCU.

I didn't know that Kevin Martin scored that many points against Georgia. He is really a talented guy, but do you think he is good enough to beat out Chattanooga, Charleston and ETSU. I am skeptical.
