How Many Southern Conference Teams will make the NCAA tournament??

although its possible for them to send more than one, its not likely. even with some quality wins out of conference last year, College of Charleston did not receive an invite.

I say one, but they have 4 really strong teams in ETSU, Charleston, Chattanooga and Davidson.

It wouldn't surprise me if they got 2 bids.

it would be a lot more fair to include one less middle of the pack power conference team, and one more second in conference - good record- low rpi due to sos team such as whoever finishes second in the socon

Agreed. I think come time for the big dance, most people would rather see a less-seen team from a smaller conference than a mid-pack team from a big conference. You'd like to see if the underdog can hang with or even beat the big school, and a mid-pack team from a big conference has played big teams already and proven that they can't.
