Kevin Martin for Western Carolina hands down. Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't he like top 5 in the nation in points per game?

Oh yeah, definitely Martin!

I still feel like we have a top 5 player in Jackson Atoyebi. He plays much bigger than he is, and has really blossomed this year.

He won player of the week last week putting up a career-high 28 points in a 76-69 victory against Appalachian State and followed that with 22 points and 14 rebounds in a 77-64 win at Wofford.

I think he's averaging 17.5 ppg in Conference and 9.0 rebounds per game overall. Not bad.

I just think Elon gets overshadowed in the SoCon so far. Kind of an afterthought, maybe. But, we have some guys that can play. We're definitely not a last place team like predicted, and fit probably somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Still, it's fun to watch Atoyebi play. He plays with such confidence and has no fear. I love that in a player!
