Re: Thoughts on Petro
Sometimes I think he doesn't know what sport he's playing. He's got the mind of Drew Gooden.
Remember that Seattle v. GS play where the ball bounced to the backcourt on a Sonic possession, when Petro jogged from the half-court line to grab the ball, and Baron Davis beats him by hustling from the free-throw line and attempting a lay-up?
I almost put my fist through my coffee table.

Re: Thoughts on Petro
Petro is likely not going to improve much without getting considerably more minutes on the court. I would rather give Petro's minutes to Sene.

Re: Thoughts on Petro
I think Sene already contributes more in his limited minutes. He slightly affects the game with his length. Petro is a ghost.

Petro is definitely not as bad as Calvin Booth, come on. And you miss J. James? What? Yeah maybe when he actually tried, for 1-2 games in the playoffs vs SAC. Looking at what he accomplished in NY, no f'ing way. I'd take Petro over JJ.

Re: Thoughts on Petro
Booth could hold his man on D on a possession or 2 a game. Petro seems to avoid his man on D. And James and Petro are no different, except James was big, powerful, and knocked the crap out of guards coming into the lane.
Petro is weak, clueless, and plays outside the paint on offense and defense. What a 7 footer.

Re: Thoughts on Petro
It seems like Petro has a mind of a perimeter player. Loves that 15-18 footer.

Re: Thoughts on Petro
Ridnour/Petro/Gelabale and a 2nd rounder to Hawks for Lue/Childress and Solomon Jones?

Re: Thoughts on Petro
Seattle doesn't need Childress. It would be a pointless move.
Petro is only here because we don't pay him that much.
