According to the Seattle Times, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer and wireless magnate John Stanton are among the local investors are trying to purchase the Sonics to keep the team in Seattle.
According to the report, the group would cover half the cost of a $300 million KeyArena expansion that could keep the Sonics a part of Seattle.
So is this move to Seattle still all but confirmed, or whats up? Interesting to know though.
