I used to be able to dunk at only 6 foot. That was about 4 years ago and about 30 lbs ago. Once the 45 hour work weeks came, the 15-20 hours a week of basketball went right out the window.

I'd be lucky to touch rim without breaking my leg now.

im 14 and about 6 feet tall and can touch rim. I want to know what i can do to help me jump higher thanks

I had Strength shoes (that is the brand name) and I didnt even use them regularly and it helped. Had I actually followed the plan I probably could have been dunking easily.

You have to be careful not to overdo it though, because you can mess up your achilles tendon if you do more than you should with them.

At the time I bought them they were about 120 bucks .. that was probably 7 or so years ago. Oh, and being young and still growing, you might want to buy one size up. I bought mine one extra size and they still fit today. Not that I use them ..

I'm 5'8 and i can dunk on 9 1/2 probably half the time. I worked so hard to jump higher that i developed tendinitis in both knees. TENDINITIS IS THE WORST IF YOU HAVENT EXPERIENCED IT YET. Does anyone with patella tendinitis know how or if it goes away and how long it takes. It's been a year for me and it hasn't gotten any better

I can dunk from the third hash mark, touch over the top of the white square, and have dunked in many games...had a few dirty ones in my day too...
