I'm the King of spinning the ball on my fingers.

Well apparently ya already know what your doing. This is one of the "juggles" that I do when I'm waiting for people to get ready before a check ball. I start spinning the ball on my middle finger and move it around between all the fingers on my right hand. Then I move it down to my knuckles and go through all of them. Then I move it to my fingertips and go through them. Then I put back on my middle finger and toss it up real high and catch back on the finger. Then I bounce it off my knee and back onto my finger. And I end with dropping it onto the inside of my hand for a second then back up to spin. (dropping it onto the inside of your hand kinda slows it down and puts some weird spin on it). Then i usually drop it to the ground and knee it forward to the guy guarding me for the check.

Hm, if you can do all that stuff already I don't really know what to tell you about spinning it longer. I guess it's just practice. I'm one of those people that see a trick and can pick it up within a few minutes. So I'm not the best teacher, though I have tought a bunch of people moves.

If the balls spinning on my right middle finger, I can hit it full strength with my left hand and it'll keep spinning. You know how you normally tap it to keep it spinning? Can you hit it full strength? It'll just show how good you are at it.

Can you do that "juggle" where you spin the ball around your arms in the circle motion? From your arms to chest to other arm and back around non stop? I can break that down and teach if ya can't. Though it'll be harder with words and not a demonstration. I've taught a few ex g/fs to do it, so it's not impossible.

FYI
Pistol Pete once spun a ball on his hand, going from finger to finger, knuckle to knuckle, for a little over an hour

Yes he had. After watching his movie I tried it. I've done it a few times. I like doing it while riding in cars. It's funny to see the other people's reaction while driving by. It's also really challening cause the ball might move around from bumps or turns or something.

Point of Advice: If trying to spin the ball for an extended period of time.. Learn to spin the ball on your finger tips. The ball will behin to "burn" your fingers after doing it for a little while. Which caused me to learn to spin it on other parts of my hand until I realized fingertips don't hurt at all.
