yes
yes it will, its been around for YEARS! yall just think it faded away cause it wasnt televised. streetball wasnt a national televised hitsuch as And1, the ESPN show, etc , til the "Skip Tape". As you can prolly guess, its Rafer Alston, aka Skip to My Lou. he sent in a tape with some sick moves to AND1 when they were first getting start and they didnt really do anything about it. They signed Darrell Armstrong, Rael LaFrentz, Miles Simon, Larry Hughes, and a few others that year to help promote AND1. in between takes of a video, they would go into an airconditioned room with TONS of movies to choose from, but every time they would watch the Skip tape, over and over, and AND1 new it was gonna be a hit. Thus, that started the AND1 mixtape, the most TV streetballs ever gotten.
And then u had the streetball of the 60's and 70's when there were plenty of guys that could have gone to the L, but they screwed up and made bad mistakes. You shouldnt say streetball is just a fad and it will go out. its gotten to be fashion lately, but when its all stripped down, streetball will still be streetball. the same fancy passes, ankle-breaking crossovers, and dunkers that can get quarters of the top of the backboard.
I could go on forever about Pee Wee Kirkland, The GOAT, DR. J Raymond Lewis, Joe Hammond, and the new guys such as Main Event, Hot Sauce, Syk Wit it, 50, etc; but i guess u get the picture. Streetball is here to stay.
