Chris Marcus?
What is the most recent update on him? I've heard lots and lots of rumors, but I haven't seen much in actual print.
Thanks,
Retro

What rumors have u heard.
I mean i have heard some that he is in great shape and is improving his athletiscm but at 7-1 with a huge wingspan he would be a steal in the second round. i heard this at a knicks message board.

much ado about nothing
Rarely has a player had more press and accomplished less in his college career.

Chris is still having problems with his foot and has not been able to play at all. He will be in Chicago for the precamp stuff, but will only do individual work outs, he will not be able to play. I'd say he'll get drafted, but not real high. He is worth taking a chance on.
I certainly hope he is able to have a long a successful career. I know him, and he is a fine individual. He made the tough decision to come back to school after his Sophomore year and it has cost him dearly. Hopefully he can get some reward for doing the right thing.

class act
My impression of Marcus was that he was a class person. Hope he does well in the pros, and if he gets healthy, you know he will.

Ah ok. I usually make the Arkansas road trip for Western's games. I really enjoy going to ASU... my trips to Little Rock haven't been quite and friendly but still much better than Lafayette, LA!!! I will never go back to the Cagin Dome again.

Rarely does a player from HS come in to a college program in fit like they should be. They can all use some extra time in the weight room and a diet. That picture is from his junior year. He committed to us in the early signing. I am sure he will be in shape in time to play. With Coach Horn's style of play, he will die if he doesn't get in shape.
