Tanner Hopkins, 18, described by police as "a good kid," was stabbed in the driveway of his parents' upscale North York home around 1 a.m. yesterday.

I just heard about this on the news today, and I realized how close it was to my school.

Not really. Toronto has a loooooooot more ppl than any other city in Ontario. So you're gonna see more **** like this... doesn't mean it happens all the time everywhere.

I know it doesn't happen all the time everywhere, but it is the fact that is happens at all. It seems every second day there is another unexplainable stabbing or shooting.

Oh no doubt. Stabbing in the area + former YM student... definately.

Remember two years ago when that guy got stabbed in the leg at our school? Remember the big deal they made out of that? Well someone just died.

Whatever... people all over Canada hate us as a city... so there's nothing we can do about it to begin with. So it doesn't faze us.
