Mussina was much more proven than Brown at the time. Look at Brown's past, then look at his stats with the Dodgers in the NL and their stadium for a fair comparison. Maddux was better than Mussina. But once again, it's not setting the market.
I meant Kris Benson, NOT Pedro. I hope you are not calling Benson a proven talent. He certainly is ranked lower than Pavano...
