OT: Delgado signs with Fish
http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Baseball/M...899779-ap.html
Yah I guess I can picture him with the Marlins... would've liked to see him with the Mariners, but at least he's not going to the Mets. Adios Delgado!

Wow the Marlins are really a contender now to win the division now. They got so many players like Juan Pierre who are always on base, Carlos is gonna get a lot of RBI's this season, that's for sure.

Well it was a coincidence I guess. Both for very different reasons. I was expecting the Blue Jays to be more active in pursuing some more help in that bullpen, but they haven't had too much luck. They got a couple of guys for pretty cheap, but I was expecting more.
Seems like it's going to be another long season for them.

Adressing one of the areas they needed to, I'm looking for big things from the Marlins this year.

Delgado just signed on with the Devil and his midget stepson. Die Loria and die Samson. Die Bud and Bob Dupuy. Die MLB and die Washington Nationals and Washington fans.

Doesn't look like a good year for baseball in Canada. Expos are gone, and so is one of the best players to ever play on a Canadian team.

As long as the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees exist and no salary cap in MLB there will never be another good year for baseball in Canada. Unless Ted Rogers the owner of the Blue Jays decides to start competing financially with the other teams.
