OT: Official Toronto Blue Jays Thread
Hey guys, I decided to make a thread here about our beloved, Toronto Blue Jays.
Post here about anything relating to their spring training sessions, and their batting lineups, starting rotation and bullpen for this season.
What are your expectations for this season?

Re: OT: Official Toronto Blue Jays Thread
One thing I like about the Blue Jays is that there is always a positive aura around the team... unlike a certain other team I like to follow.
I don't know what this season will hold, but I like having a Canadian on the team and I am optimistic Hinske can get back to the strong play of his rookie year and hold the fort at first base.
I hope Rios develops well this year... Bush too. So much young talent.
I hope O Dog wins a golden glove at second base, too.

Re: OT: Official Toronto Blue Jays Thread
This year will be a tough one, with all the teams around us loading up.
However I think that if there is a positive showing this year, and if we are anywhere close to the post season around the All Star Break, JP will be able to go out and get some talent in here.
I am just hoping for a 500 campaign this season, if we can do that, that'll be just a sign of the things to come in the future.

Re: OT: Official Toronto Blue Jays Thread
I don't know about you guys but I am pumped that we have this guy back. Although this article kind of calms me down a bit.
I like the addition of Koskie, he rocks in MVP Baseball 2004 so that is a good thing.

Re: OT: Official Toronto Blue Jays Thread
Who is going to be on our starting rotation?
Halladay
Batista
Lilly
Towers
Bush
How about Chachin? He has impressed a lot of people since coming to the big leagues. Will he be inserted into that rotation?

I think it will be Halladay, Lilly, Bush, Chacin and Towers or Batista. Hopefully Rios can really show his power numbers and Wells can go back to his 2003 form. Also I will be lookin forward to see how the kids do such as McGowan coming back from surgery along with Rosario and Aaron Hill to see what they do.

I really thought he was robbed of the gold glove last year. Hopefully he gets his recognition this year.

Re: OT: Official Toronto Blue Jays Thread
what sucks for the blue jays is that they have to play red sox and yankess many times and that's not really a good thing. If blue jays had an easier division there would be some hope (like the division raps are in)...... but with red sox and yankees ...... no playoffs again.

It's sucks that they're stuck in that division. It's gonna be very difficult for them to compete....and that is how it is every year. If they were put in the Central their chances would go up a bit.
I really like this team though, they don't have much power, but they're quick and they're young. With Hinske, Wells, O-Dog, and Koch coming back, it's gonna be a fun year =)
