are you clicking the right 'store' menu? theres two. The one at the top converts u=cash to clams

is this a glitch? I had to change my element to fire to even stand a chance against gollum, but I can't buy a single weapon. My status screen is empty so I dont' meet the requirements
is everyone supposed to start as a pickpocket? (so are able to meet requirements for the cheapest weapons?) maybe I messed it up? I have no status and can't buy a thing.
