First off, this is reallly really off topic....but there is a movie coming out about the Paul Bernardo and Carla Homoca(sp?) incident...its called Deadly and is starring Laura Prepon (Donna from "That 70's show") and seeing as this happen in our province, is why i dint post it in the EBB section...cuz they most likely will not know the story behind it and just call it another movie....so what do you guys think about the movie...i for one dont liek it, and feel that it brings up things, and profits off of something that shouldnt be remembered, but then again, they made movies on other tragedies, such as the Titanic...i was wondering what you guys thought about that?

It dosent bother me that they are making a movie about it unless they completly change it. I was to young to remember what was happening around the time so it will be able to show people who didnt know or were to young to see what happend

it matters how much they alter the story of the murders and how they portray Bernardo and Homolka...as long as it is an accurate representation of the events, i dont have much of a problem with it since it did happen and there is no use in ignoring it...they show the same sorta stuff on A&E all the time (regarding murders and crimes) and theyve depicted anything from Nazi concentration camps to the Son of Sam in film so its not anything new...

the thing is tho on A&E they are documentaries that someone makes for that issue...this movies hits mainstream in the states..and was made to make a buck...
