There are better ways to advertise for your fanclub. I hope you're not planning on going to every team forum.

Because it's the Miami forum, maybe?

It's one thing to make a club for a player and ask people on his team's board to join. It's another to go to every forum and look for members.

All you have to do is post in those forums. You don't need to ask people to join because it's already in your sig. It's much better for you to involve yourself in conversations/threads on many boards so that people see your sig and your club than it is to spam everywhere.

If you really want to get people to join your club, here's what you do:

You've got your club and a "PM me" already in your sig, so you're ahead of the game.

Now what you do is go and post in every team forum, the NBA board, the draft board, the EBB board, and in some popular members forums. Don't just post to ask people to join your club.

Involve yourselves in a thread on each board. Make a post and don't say anything about your club--it's in your sig already, so people will see it. If it's a Vince Carter thread, say something about Vince. Don't stray from the thread topic.

The more you post, and the better your posts are, the more people will notice and want to join your club.

If you look at people like Petey and R-Star and others who have huge clubs, that's how they do it. Don't advertise for the sake of advertising, because when people see that on the site they don't like it.
