This is the plan..

My goal is to become an electrician, and hopefully own my own company (even if I don't, it's all good)..

Now, I don't even have to go to college.. As a site super, my dad has hook ups, and could probably find someone willing to take me on as their apprentice.

BUT I am not done partying. I figure, if I don't go to college, real life begins, which sucks. I still have a HELL OF A LOT of partying left in me..

So I'm thinkin after high school I get a full time job (most likely as a labourer).. and then save up for college in 07 (so I can live on residence). I don't just want to go to college, I want to live on residence - leave the house and party my *** off. Only thing is, is that its a hell of a lot of money, and I'll have to pay for it.. but hey, you only live once, right!!?

And the college I want to go to is Fanshawe.. alot of my buddies are going to university in london, and i think a couple to fanshawe.. so it should be sweet. And I hear Londons a party town, which is awesome.

So what do you think.. good decision?

Hmm...the idea of getting a job and earning money for college sounds good. But check if the college offers any scholarships or bursaries? Maybe if you applied, and got accepted, and was offered money, maybe you could consider going to college first. What i'm trying to say is just apply, and if you get accepted, you can then decide whether or not you want to go to college or if you really want to become an apprentice first.

Ergh, I just took the careers and civics course and I forgot whether or not colleges offered scholarships.

Hmm..have you checked with your guidance counsellors at your school? Maybe they'll have some suggestions or something. (I'd leave out the bit about partying though =P)

^ The thing about applying is that, it costs 85$. I don't want to spend that just to not even go to college.

I don't think I'll get any scholarships with my marks..

Unfortunately.. I cannot talk to my guidance counsellors because I'm at co-op, and by the time I go to school - the deadline to apply will be over.

I'm thinking about applying to college for the Winter 06 start. But does that mean I'll have to go to school in the summer?
