NHL entry draft
lookin at the blockbuster that happened last night (bertuzzi for luongo), the leafs HAVE to do something soon. ferguson really needs to turn this franchise around with some good prospects. anyways, wat are your thoughts on who you think we might land this offseason? my guess is we come up short on pronger, but could be able to land nabokov or giguere

Re: NHL entry draft
i guess not much leafs fans here. anyway, with the 13th pick in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft, the Toronto Maple Leafs select Jiri Tlusty from the Czech league.

Re: NHL entry draft
we got raycroft. pretty low risk, seeing as how we dealt rask... we needed to get rid of one of rask or pogge in any event. i like it.

Re: NHL entry draft
wat's the point though? raycroft isn't really proven, but nabokov and giguere are..now if raycroft can revert back to his rookie form, then i'm all for that. but how could Rask not have been juss as good as raycroft would be for our team next year?

This is Toronto, we always end up trading away our picks. I guess Ferguson chose Pogge over Rask.
