According to the paper's website, the trade hasn't been officially announced and, barring one of the players failing to pass a physical exam or some other unforeseen snag, won't be formally approved until Monday.

The 28-year-old Toronto native came to the Bucks in a trade with New Orleans/Oklahoma City just before the start of the last season. The Bucks gave the Hornets small forward Desmond Mason along with a first-round draft choice. The Hornets used that pick in the June 28th draft to select power forward Cedric Simmons of North Carolina State.

Magloire started every game for the Bucks last season, averaging 9.2 points and 9.5 rebounds in 30.1 minutes a game.

this does NOT make any sense, they signed ratliff to a huuuuge contract, they got pryz to sign for peanuts, now they get Mags?????????

Uh, the blazers traded ratliff off to boston with the telfair trade and now have LaFrentz instead. Also as a Blazers fan I believe Mags is going to be used as trade bait in a couple months to move Miles.

lol... dude... Bargnani is our "compensation" for CV. Magloire plays nothing like him.

i'm suprised that the price was so low for Mags. I have to agree with Speeds in that I prefer Rasho for the money we are paying for him compared to what it would have costed to keep Magloire.
