Look at the draft selection thread. Ok wait. I think you're being confused. This isn't a one-day draft where we just spend about 3-4 hours and we're done. This will take place over a month or two and when it is your turn you post who you want to pick in the selection thread. I apologize for not making this clear before, I didn't realize there were people who have never seen a GM draft on these forums.

Well he woulda gone top 5 regardless, so not really that bad of a pick. He is still one of the great players of the post-Jordan era even with two sraight off seasons. Shame we have our first skipped pick so soon, I was hoping we wouldn't have one until mid-1st round. Don't forget to pm the person after you when you select.

No,, I think he would've gone top 10, but #2 seems steep for him these days. His stock is down quite a bit from a year ago, because of the fortunes of his team and because he seems to be widely viewed as a guy who does a lot defensively and on the boards but doesn't consistently take over games on offense.

I agree on both counts. I'm just used to him being undervalued on this board generally, so I was surprised he went this high.
