After leading the Suns to a perfect 4-0 week following the All-Star break, center Amaré Stoudemire was named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week for Feb. 19-25, the NBA announced on Monday.

Vince Carter won the award for thr Eastern Conference.

Just stating to Raptor fans that Carter can still get things done, and if you watch the games you'll see that he doesn't just settle on jump shots, because a lot of his points were scored in the paint. He also dished out the ball effectively and rebounded the ball pretty well. Nice job Carter.

No Carter said that he wanted to stay in New Jersey, I believe that he really wants to make the playoffs, and he knows that he's the go to guy in that team, and he has to put this team on his shoulders and lead them there, just like he did when he first joined the Nets.
